CONSERVATORY BASES DRYING TIMES

Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 2:17pm

There is a very good reason why we allow three weeks mininum from order to delivery of our DIY conservatories. As the concrete base will have to be created usually from scratch, you need to allow sufficient drying tome for the base before the conservatory is added.

As mentioned in the last post, condensation can be a real issue until the base has dried out completely. As a rough guide you should allow a minimum of three weeks in the summer and longer if fitting in the winter for the base to dry out. Be aware that this is the drying time, not the curing tiime which is longer. You should bear this in mind before laying the final floor covering.
