I'm not quite sure how Sunday was for you but over here in sunny Warwickshire, the heavens opened in the afternoon. It was hard to see anything more than a few yards away and I discovered a major leak in my gutter that I didn't even know that I had.
This prompted me to think about gutters as you do. The rain was so ferocious that it was knocking the leaves from the Oak trees outside the house. I know from the photos that many of you have sent in to Prior Conservatories that a lot of you have large trees in your gardens. If you are unlucky enough to get clobbered by one of these rainstorms, it would be a prudent idea to nip up and check the guttering on the conservatory.
The last thing that anyone wants is for the outlet to block up with debris and for the resulting flood to drop down the back of your nice shiny new plazma tv! As a precaution, whilst up checking the cleanliness of your guttering and running outlets, just give the flashing a glance. If it has been fitted correctly there should never be a problem, but it is good to be on the safe side!
All we need to do then is wait for a warm dry day whenever that will happen!
