Looking at the title of this post, the obvious thing would be furniture. However, although this may be the case in ninety nine percent of conservatories, some of our customers have gone one better!
We have one customer who is a fish fanatic and every side of his North facing conservatory is lined with fish tanks with tropical monsters in them. We did mention that there would be an issue with condensation, but he is not bothered. The conservatory resembles a sea life centre, but that is how he likes it and he is happy!
Another customer who has no neighbours for miles around has turned his Prior DIY conservatory into a rather convincing 70's styled disco room. I am glad that the glass is toughened as he has a 400 watt sound system installed in it. This probably accounts for the lack of neighbours!
By far and away the best has to be an un- named gentleman and his wife who have a well in the middle of the conservatory floor. This is not just a small artificial brick wall well with a little hood and a bucket on a rope, but a full blown well of ninety feet deep which is illuminated throughout its' entire depth! Having no pets or children meant that they could incorporate this existing garden feature into the conservatory without killing anyone!
One has to hope that the illuminated section has a power breaker attached somewhere to it as there is one hell of a lot of water in the bottom.
