As soon as your DIY conservatory order has been confirmed and the deposit has been paid, we get started on the manufacturing side of things. The reason that we say allow a minimum of three weeks between order and delivery is that we want to make certain that your conservatory if fabricated to the exact sizes that were agreed.
The other reason that we ask for three weeks is that Prior Conservatories also manufacture doors and windows for the retail and trade markets, and we have to tie all of these customers' fabrications together so that no one misses a collect or delivery date.
This time also gives our customers time to familiarize themselves with the fitting instructions that were posted to them the day of order, and in some cases, there is a lot to read! Whilst this is ongoing, we continue with manufacturing the side frames. This is a slow and complex business to ensure that nothing is missed and that everything will fit together when the conservatory arrives on site.
Our special glass energy rated units have to be specially made and checked for quality and fitting purposes and at the end of all of this the roof is manufactured to tie in with everything else. Finally, it all comes together and we are then in a position to arrange for the delivery to your door.
