The quick answer is that with a bit more of it, the ground will soften up enough for those all important conservatory footings to be dug, without resorting to a stick of dynamite!
Make the most of the damp - mark out and dig your footings or base work, and then when the weather heats up again, you can pour your concrete and get that dwarf wall up!
