We can't tell you what's going to happen next. But we can make sure your composite door is fully protected against extreme weather conditions. Our composite doors are tested in a pressurised chamber to simulate gusting winds. The tests start at 500 pascals-63miles an hour. Then the BSI turned those gusts up to the equivalent of 80 miles an hour(800 pascal). That's stronger than a hurricane. But we weren't quite content with that though.Because we want our composite doors to be fully prepared-like th....

The front can be either a three or five facet. The five facet frontage gives a more rounded appearance. As well as having a symetrical frontage, it is also possible to fit a Victorian with a wide front. This is where the centre window is considerably wider than the two side angled windows, giving a panoramic view of the garden. As usual, ....

By far the most popular DIY conservatory that people purchase is the lean-to. As it makes the most use of the internal space, and is versatile enough to fit anything from the rear of a bungalow to the back of a three storey town house, we produce a good number of this style each year. With the usual options of polycarbonate or toughened glass roof, full height curtain walls, or sat on a dwarf wall, it is easy to see why people like these so much. The choice of roof pitch is also a bonus, with t....

Showers...storms...drizzle...We hate to break it to you,but the average rainfall in the UK is between 700mm a year in East Anglia and 3,000 a year in the Scottish Highlands. That's a lot of potential for leaks, puddles or even worse. The composite doors are tested by the BSI by spraying six litres of water every minute directly at the door in their test chamber. That's a serious amount of rain. So even when it's raining cats and dogs out there, your composite door will keep you snug and dry....
