Home and dry

Tuesday December 1, 2009 at 9:55am

Showers...storms...drizzle...We hate to break it to you,but the average rainfall in the UK is between 700mm a year in East Anglia and 3,000 a year in the Scottish Highlands.

That's a lot of potential for leaks, puddles or even worse.

The composite doors are tested by the BSI by spraying six litres of water every minute directly at the door in their test chamber. That's a serious amount of rain.

So even when it's raining cats and dogs out there, your composite door will keep you snug and dry.

Water tightness:Tested in accordance with BSEN1027:2000

Air permeability:Tested in accordance with BSEN 1026:2000

Wind resistance:Tested in accordance with BSEN 12211:2000
