There are many reasons why people are nowadays heading down the route of building their own conservatory. The primary one being cost, or rather lack of cost, compared with a bought and built conservatory.
These would require a builder to dig out the footings and build the base and if required, the dwarf wall, a plumber to install any water supply that may be needed. Then the additional cost of employing an electrician and plasterer, painter and decorator. These all add up to greatly increase the cost of buying a conservatory.
With a Prior conservatory, as they are self build, the only extra cost to the purchaser is their time and labour to assemble and finish the structure. Because all of our DIY conservatories are made to be as easy as possible to put up, most can be assembled within a few days.
An average knowledge of household DIY, and using the tools found in most properties, they can easily be assembled with a couple of family members or friends.
